ON THE ISSUES

  • PRO AMERICA

The United States is the greatest nation on Earth. Despite this, the rising threat of our foreign adversaries has made it ever more clear that our nation's continued prosperity will prevail only if we prioritize American industries, national defense, the economy, and policies that strengthen our people, including ensuring foreign nations cannot buy South Dakota farmland.

  • EDUCATION

As a product of the public education system, I know that a pro-America education is fundamental in shaping patriotic citizens. Wokeism in schools must be stopped and replaced with promotion of a balanced, inclusive atmosphere for diversity of thought. Tackling post-COVID learning loss recovery, literacy education, and school attendance should be a priority, as well as championing parents as crucial partners, supporting their involvement in their children’s education. Let's work together for a brighter future, implementing effective practices to recover lost opportunities and ensure a well-rounded education for our students.

  • VETERANS

American freedom is not free. It came at a steep price, one which our service men and women continue to put their life on the line for. I am a proud supporter of our veterans and vow to do everything in my power to improve their quality of life and commemorate their sacrifices made to keep us safe

  • 2ND AMENDMENT SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED

I grew up on a hunting ranch. My dad was an FFL dealer and gunsmith and ran his own sports shop. When I was a little girl, I watched him sell guns at our dining room table - even though I could barely see over it. He taught me gun safety, good aim, and, most importantly, that gun ownership is our constitutional right- ingrained in the South Dakota way of life.

  • WILDLIFE, LAND MANAGEMENT, & CONSERVATION

Whether it's ranching, hunting, fishing, or simply enjoying the wildlife, South Dakota is truly God’s country. Outdoorsmanship and being stewarts of the land is central to who we are as a people and our land should be protected for future generations. As the daughter of a former outfitter, I was raised to respect our wildlife and am so grateful I was taught at such a young age to cherish and protect the resource rich land we call home for future generations.
